At the conference, the representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province conveyed the following contents: The necessity of implementing the model "Mobilizing religious compatriots and people to practice civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals"; the positive impacts of implementing the model on people's lives; the content and solutions to effectively implement the model; the responsibility of the Fatherland Front, organizations at all levels and of the people in building and implementing the model...

The content of the model focuses on propagating and mobilizing religious people and people to organize tea parties instead of salty parties; solemnly decorate weddings in accordance with national culture; do not use the roadside or sidewalk to set up wedding tents; organize funerals in a thoughtful, civilized and economical manner; perform cremation, electric cremation or one-time burial in the planned cemetery area; do not organize feasts to invite guests to eat and drink during the funeral; do not scatter votive paper or money on the funeral procession; place offerings, money for offerings, and incense oil money in the right place; do not take advantage of festivals to commit illegal acts; do not commit superstitious acts...

The conference was held to raise awareness and proactive participation of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people in building a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals. Thereby contributing to building a cultural and united community, reducing backward and wasteful customs and building a new rural residential area that is spacious, clean, beautiful, safe and friendly.
