In the first phase of 2025, Tinh Bien Town has 81 households receiving housing support under Decision 04-QD/BCĐ of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, of which 4 households voluntarily did not receive the houses. Up to now, the locality has handed over 77 houses to policy families, meritorious people, poor and near-poor households under the program, reaching 100% of the plan. Currently, the locality is reviewing and submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the second phase with about 92 houses, expected to be completed in June 2025.

At the conference, representatives of sectors and localities presented their experiences, methods, and difficulties and obstacles in implementing the program. Along with that, they also proposed solutions to mobilize social resources; solutions to ensure housing support for the right subjects and in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of Tinh Bien Town Party Committee Nguyen Hong Duc commended and highly appreciated the efforts of sectors and localities in implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in ensuring progress and quality on the basis of high consensus of steering committee members and support and trust of all classes of people.

At the same time, it is required that sectors and localities must be extremely proactive and creative in their thinking and ways of working to mobilize resources to implement the program. At the same time, it is necessary to always uphold and promote the responsibility of cadres and party members towards the people in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, overcoming the mentality of waiting, relying on others, and being afraid of difficulties in implementing the program on the basis of ensuring compliance with regulations.

Regarding solutions, the Secretary of Tinh Bien City Party Committee requested that sectors and localities need to step up propaganda to raise awareness among people, levels and sectors in implementing the program. Effectively use budget funds, as well as socialization work on the basis of publicity and transparency.

During the construction process, it is necessary to mobilize armed forces, union members, youth, and charity house building teams in the area to join in creating a movement that spreads throughout society. Timely reward and encourage individuals, organizations, and forces that have actively participated in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the past time...
