VND/USD central exchange rate increases again

On the morning of April 23, the central exchange rate at the State Bank and several major commercial banks increased again.

Specifically, the central rate at the State Bank this morning was 24,897 VND/USD, up 20 VND compared to April 22. With a trading band of ±5% compared to the central rate, the ceiling rate applied is 26,142 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,652 VND/USD. In the world , the USD Index (DXY) increased beyond the 99-point threshold.

The reference exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong and foreign currencies at the State Foreign Exchange Reserve Management Department is 23,703 - 26,091 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At BIDV Bank, the buying and selling rates of USD are at 25,781 - 26,141, up 21 VND in both directions.

At VietinBank , the exchange rate also increased by 21 VND when it was announced at 25,780-26,141 (buy - sell).

Meanwhile, the exchange rate updated this morning at Vietcombank was 25,751-26,141 (buy, sell), both down 26 VND compared to the closing price on April 22.

In the free market, the USD/VND exchange rate is trading around 26,320 - 26,420 VND/USD, stable for 3 consecutive days.
