U9 Hanoi won the national U9 championship

The 2023 National U9 Football Tournament takes place from August 12 to 22 at the Bac Ninh Province Multi-purpose Gymnasium. The tournament attracts 16 teams: Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, T&T Bac Giang, Kelme Quang Ninh, HYS Hanoi , Hanoi Club, Hai Phong, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Binh Phuoc, PSFC Gia Lai, Luxcom Ngoc Hung, Thuan An Binh Duong, Van Tam Dong Nai.

After 30 exciting and attractive matches from the group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, the 2023 National U9 Football Tournament has determined the two best teams to play in the final match, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa and Hanoi. Meeting in the final match, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa and Hanoi had the strongest forces. The match was quite balanced, the first half ended with a score of 0-0.

Entering the second half, the two teams continued to play an open game. In the 34th minute, captain Manh Hung of the Hanoi U9 team scored the opening goal of the match, which was also the only goal of the match. In the end, Hanoi U9 beat Viet Hung Thanh Hoa with a score of 1-0.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Gold Medal and the Championship Cup to the Hanoi U9 team; the Silver Medal to the Viet Hung Thanh Hoa U9 team; the two Song Lam Nghe An U9 teams and Thuan An Binh Duong U9 teams received Bronze Medals. The Organizing Committee also awarded the following prizes: Best Referee Team, Top Scorer, Best Player, Best Goalkeeper, 10 Best Players of the Tournament and many collective prizes to the teams with achievements.

The Bac Ninh U9 team won the Style Award. The 2023 National U9 Football Tournament is a practical activity that creates a playground for physical training, contributes to the fulfillment of dreams, and inspires the passion for football of children across the country, for the development of Vietnamese football.
