Coach Tomislav Steinbrückner was born in 1966, played professionally in Croatia and ended his playing career in Singapore. He started his coaching career in 2008 and made his mark when he helped Terengganu win the 2023 Malaysia Cup runner-up position.

At the launching ceremony, Coach Tomislav Steinbrückner thanked Thanh Hoa Club for trusting and inviting him to be the head coach. Mr. Tomislav Steinbrückner promised to do his best to bring success to the Thanh Hoa team.

"When we win, we praise the coach, but when we lose, we curse the owner. It's been a habit for many years, and this is the fifth year, but I still keep a cool head and let it be," said Mr. Doan.

Mr. Doan also mentioned the story of Coach Popov during his time leading Thanh Hoa team. Mr. Doan said that the team had 30 players but kept using the same 11-player lineup and 2 other players for substitution.

Meanwhile, in football, luck and tactics are factors, but trickery is also a factor. If I let others know who I let play, it's considered a loss, so I can't let it go on any longer, I have to end things with Mr. Popov," said Mr. Doan.

Talking about the team's future, Mr. Doan said the team's goal in the 2024-2025 season is to be in the top group, and the next season (2025-2026) the goal is to win the V-League championship.
