Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee is the competent authority implementing the Van Ha Bridge Construction Project.

Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister agreed to assign the People's Committee of Bac Giang province as the competent authority to implement the Van Ha bridge construction investment project, connecting Van Ha commune, Viet Yen town, Bac Giang province with Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to coordinate with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and take responsibility for allocating funds and organizing the implementation of the Project to ensure efficiency, compliance with legal regulations, and to prevent corruption, loss, and waste.

* According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Van Ha bridge construction investment project plans to build the bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge as follows: The bridge construction location is determined according to the adjusted Bac Ninh urban master plan and the Bac Ninh city urban zoning plan, connecting from Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater to Van Ha commune; the total length of the bridge is about 360m; the total width of the bridge is 12m.

The project is expected to start construction in 2025 and be completed in 2026.

The project's completion will facilitate the promotion of economic, cultural and social exchanges, contributing to disaster prevention and rescue between the two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
