Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee works with the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association

(LĐ online) - On December 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA) led by Mr. Tran Hai Linh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the VKBIA Association.

At the meeting, comrade Pham S informed the delegation of some key features of the socio -economic situation in 2023; at the same time, introduced some potentials and advantages of Lam Dong province in areas such as tourism, high-tech agricultural development, high-quality human resources in labor export, etc. for the parties to discuss specifically and support the promotion of signing local cooperation agreements.

Representatives of the departments, branches and sectors introduced some highlights of industry, agriculture, trade, services and tourism to VKBIA members. At the same time, they discussed some issues related to the fields that VKBIA is interested in such as green investment, organic and circular agriculture development, green tourism development, and investment in building fertilizer factories.

Representatives of the VKBIA delegation also discussed international investment, local cooperation between Lam Dong province and localities of the Korean province, tourism development, agriculture, international standard fertilizers to meet international market demand and Hala food chain standards, highly skilled labor to Korea, training and talent development.

Through the working session, Mr. Tran Hai Linh - Chairman of VKBIA Association emphasized that today's working session marks the beginning, a solid foundation for Korean investors to come to Lam Dong. VKBIA is like an "extended arm", connecting the economy, trade, tourism, culture and education between the two sides, enhancing the practical effectiveness of activities between localities and businesses.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Pham S affirmed Lam Dong's view that businesses are the target of service, ensuring consistency, creating an open and friendly investment and business environment, and committing to accompany the business community to develop. Lam Dong is an ideal, attractive and safe investment destination and in the coming years will have important steps forward in economic development.
