The Provincial People's Committee considers promulgating economic and technical norms for print and electronic newspaper activities in the province.

On December 25, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to review and give opinions on a number of important issues related to the coordination of management of foreigners residing and operating in the province; economic and technical norms for print and electronic newspaper activities in the province. Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Le Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Duy Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors and leaders of districts, towns and cities.

At the meeting, delegates listened to and discussed: Draft decision of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating the Regulation on coordination in managing foreigners residing and operating in Hung Yen province submitted by the Provincial Police; Promulgating economic and technical norms for print and electronic newspaper activities in Hung Yen province submitted by the Department of Information and Communications. Discussions focused on the following issues: Identifying, capturing information, and duration of foreigners residing and operating in the province; coordinating the implementation of management of foreigners residing and operating in the province; the necessity and basis for determining the framework of economic and technical norms for print and electronic newspaper activities.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van agreed to issue regulations on coordination in managing foreigners residing and operating in Hung Yen province. The Provincial Police Department, based on the opinions of the delegates, supplemented and completed the regulations and submitted them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and promulgation. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed to issue economic and technical norms for print and electronic newspaper activities in the province. The Department of Information and Communications was requested to base on the opinions of the departments and branches to complete the content and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and promulgation.
