The attack was carried out by the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (DIU), the source said, adding that aircraft repair plant No. 711 in the town of Borisoglebsk was hit. However, no details on the extent of the damage were given.
“We will not disclose details, but according to preliminary information, the complex's main production facility was damaged,” DIU spokesman Andriy Yusov told RFE.

The Baza news agency, which is affiliated with Russian security agencies, reported on Telegram about drone attacks on the premises of an aviation training center in Borisoglebsk, a city in the Voronezh region located about 255 kilometers northeast of the Ukrainian border.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that four Ukrainian drones were shot down by its air defense systems – two in the Belgorod region and two in the Voronezh region. It said the drones did not cause any damage.
CCTV footage verified by Reuters shows an explosion in Voronezh on April 9. Satellite imagery and street views also match the time and location. The town is at least 350 kilometers northeast of the Ukrainian government-held front line.
Kiev has stepped up attacks deep into Russian territory, targeting military facilities and energy infrastructure, largely using a variety of domestically produced long-range drones.
On April 8, Ukrainian military intelligence reportedly carried out a special operation to damage a Russian warship anchored off Kaliningrad in the Baltic Sea.
