Mr. Nguyen Kim Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said that the fourth industrial revolution has been bringing many favorable conditions for university lecturers, especially in implementing innovation in teaching methods in general and teaching political theory (LLCT) in particular in a modern direction. The rapid development of science and technology has created a diverse and multi-dimensional information environment on the internet and social networks, effectively supporting students' learning and professional activities of university lecturers.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Tung, LLCT training institutions need to consider innovation in LLCT teaching methods as a mandatory requirement for each lecturer, considering this as a criterion to evaluate the capacity and teaching effectiveness of each lecturer. From there, training institutions have plans to train and foster lecturers with advanced and modern teaching methods to apply to LLCT training and fostering.
Many presentations from Nguyen Chi Thanh Political School, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, Da Nang City Political School, University of Science - Hue University... contributed to raising awareness of agencies, organizations, political and social schools about the role, opportunities and challenges of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in general and the field of information technology in particular for teaching political science majors. From there, continue to strongly innovate teaching and learning methods in a modern direction; promote the positivity, proactiveness, creativity and application of knowledge and skills of learners. Shift from mainly learning in the classroom to organizing diverse learning forms, paying attention to social activities, extracurricular activities, scientific research; promote the application of information technology and communication in teaching and learning.
Propose some appropriate solutions and policies to take advantage of the opportunities brought by information technology and digital transformation, turning challenges into opportunities to promote and facilitate the teaching and learning of political theory subjects in schools.
