The Fatherland Front of Hai Duong province has coordinated with socio-political organizations to mobilize more than 19 billion VND to support funding for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.

According to the synthesis of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province, localities have coordinated with socio -political organizations to mobilize organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.

Along with financial support, localities also mobilized people to support over 3,600 working days. Nam Sach District and Hai Duong City also mobilized individuals and organizations to support construction materials with a total amount of 231 million VND.

Localities have mobilized people to join hands to support construction workdays to help policy families, poor and near-poor households.

The reception, management and use of socialized funding sources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in localities are public, transparent and targeted to the right subjects.

Some localities also use the "Fund for the Poor" to support and connect agencies and units to directly support households in especially difficult circumstances who are unable to mobilize funds.

In the whole province of Hai Duong, 589 poor and near-poor households were supported to build and repair houses. Of these, 337 households built new houses, the rest repaired. Hai Duong completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for policy families earlier than the set target.
