Quang Nam literature and art affirm their position in the flow of time.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh, along with representatives of the provincial departments and branches; poet Nguyen Nho Khiem - Chairman of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City and all members of the Literature and Arts Association of Quang Nam province attended the conference.

At the conference, musician Nguyen Hoang Bich - Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association said: In July 1977, the Quang Nam - Da Nang Literature and Arts Association was established, with Mr. Ngo Xuan Ha - Head of the Propaganda Department as Chairman of the Association and went through 4 congresses.

In 1997, after Quang Nam province was re-established, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association was established, with a provisional Executive Committee of 7 members. Writer Ho Duy Le - Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam Newspaper was the President of the Association; writer Nguyen Ba Tham was the Permanent Vice President of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association.

In the early years of its establishment, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association had only 48 members, including 9 Central members with 3 majors: Theater, Literature and Music . Up to now, through 9 congresses, the entire Provincial Literature and Arts Association has 241 members, including 64 Central members with 7 majors: Literature, Music, Theater, Fine Arts, Photography, Folk Arts and Culture and Arts of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas.

According to musician Nguyen Hoang Bich, in the past 50 years, especially after the re-establishment of Quang Nam province, Quang Nam's culture and arts have made significant progress. In addition to publishing thousands of works about the country, homeland, revolutionary war... many generations of Quang Nam artists have directly composed and disseminated to the public many works of artistic value, strongly encouraging the patriotic emulation movement among cadres, soldiers and people throughout the province.

Thousands of works of high artistic value have won awards at provincial, regional, national and international levels. Notably, three authors from Quang Nam were awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts, including musician Nguyen Hoang Bich, musician Phan Van Minh and photographer Le Van.

"Since 2008, the Provincial People's Committee has issued regulations for the Quang Nam Cultural and Artistic Awards and Quang Nam Cultural and Artistic Awards. This is a prestigious and large-scale award to encourage and motivate the creative work of artists and writers, honoring authors with cultural and artistic works about the land and people of Quang Nam, with high value in content and art" - musician Nguyen Hoang Bich shared.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province Le Tri Thanh acknowledged the achievements of generations of artists and writers in Quang Nam over the past 50 years.

Comrade Le Tri Thanh emphasized that, in response to the demands of the new era, in order to continue to develop strongly and make practical contributions to the cause of building and protecting the homeland and country, the Literature and Arts Association and the artists of the whole province must promote the core role of the association in nurturing the next generation of artists.

In the current context of innovation and integration, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association must further promote its role in guiding aesthetics, preserving national cultural identity, absorbing the quintessence of human culture to create artistic values that reflect the breath of the times, closely linked to people's lives, encouraging people to enthusiastically participate in the cause of building and developing their homeland and country...

Also within the framework of the conference, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association organized a discussion on "Quang Nam Province's Literature and Arts in the 50-year flow of Vietnamese Literature and Arts after the country's reunification". The discussion was an opportunity for delegates and artists to look back on the development of the province's literature and arts, share outstanding achievements, creative experiences and concerns in the journey of artistic work.

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association organized a summary of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Creation Camp 2025, awarding 86 works by 54 authors in 6 categories: Literature (23 works); folk arts (5 works); theater (1 work); music (13 works); fine arts (20 works); photography (14 works).
