- Practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the afternoon of April 26, the People's Committee of Van Lang district organized the opening ceremony of the 1st Pickleball Sports Tournament in 2025.

The tournament attracted the participation of 26 delegations with over 100 athletes who are civil servants, public employees and workers in the district.

Participating in the tournament, athletes compete in 5 categories: men's doubles under 40 years old, men's doubles over 40 years old, mixed doubles under 40, mixed doubles over 40 and women's doubles.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the first matches took place in an exciting atmosphere with enthusiastic cheers from a large audience and supporters. The athletes competed with a spirit of solidarity and honesty, contributing many beautiful and dramatic moves.

The tournament is not only a healthy sports playground, contributing to improving the physical and mental health of cadres and people, but also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and exchange between units, thereby contributing to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the district. The tournament continues until April 27.
