Vang Thi Hai Yen - The poor but studious student

Every day, outside of school hours, Hai Yen helps her parents clean the house and take care of the garden. Her family is one of the poorest households in the village, and her parents do not have a stable income. Although life is hard and difficult, Hai Yen's parents still try to work hard and save every penny to ensure their children have a full education.

Mr. Vang Van Hoi, father of Vang Thi Hai Yen, in Na Day village, Muong Khuong town, Muong Khuong district said: "Although we don't have the means, my wife and I still try to send our children to school, so that in the future our children will have better conditions."

Vang Thi Hai Yen shared: "I tell myself that I will always try to study better and never give up, always move forward to have a solid knowledge foundation."

After school, Yen helps her parents with chores around the house.

Understanding and sharing Yen's situation, teachers and the Board of Directors of Muong Khuong Town Secondary School always encourage, help, and support her materially and spiritually to overcome difficulties and strive to study.

"In the future, I plan to continue studying in high school. After finishing school, I will be determined to take the security exam to become a People's Police officer," Hai Yen added.

Hai Yen always tries hard to study to fulfill her dream of becoming a People's Police officer.

The encouragement and support of teachers and friends, the companionship and care of parents became a great source of motivation to help the young student Hai Yen be more determined and try harder in her studies. Over the past 8 years of study, she has always achieved good and excellent student results. Notably, in the district-level excellent student selection exam for the 2022-2023 school year, Hai Yen excellently won the second prize, and in the 2023-2024 school year, she won the third prize in Literature.

Teacher Trinh Thi Thu Nga, Muong Khuong Town Secondary School, Muong Khuong District said: "The teachers at the school always encourage and create the best conditions for me to go to school. They give me more motivation to continue writing my dreams in the future."

The road ahead is still full of difficulties, but with a studious spirit and a determination not to back down, we believe that the poor student Vang Thi Hai Yen will always move forward and reap success in the future.
