After a period of in-depth propaganda, creating a spread of a series of major events, especially the 20th anniversary of the province's founding, in the first days of the new year, there was a period of propaganda and organization of many cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the Party and the New Year of the Dragon.

In 2023 and the first days of 2024, a series of major events of the province of regional and international significance will be held in Hau Giang . Each extensive and diverse propaganda activity will be implemented in a methodical manner, with smooth coordination, contributing significantly to the widespread influence and overall success of each event.

In particular, the series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the province's establishment, the Vietnam - Hau Giang International Rice Festival 2023, the Ao Ba Ba Festival, the Digital Transformation and Innovative Startup Week - Mekong Delta 2023, Vietnam Space Week, the " Vietcombank Mekong Delta" International Marathon...

Each event and visual propaganda was noticed and deployed throughout the province. Thousands of billboards, posters, and flags of all kinds were hung on all national and provincial highways, especially in the inner city of Vi Thanh.

Mr. Le Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Cultural Center, said: “As the unit assigned to carry out visual propaganda work, we proactively have a plan to propagate early for each event and launch simultaneously, ensuring the time and effectiveness of propaganda. Not only propagating with billboards, posters, banners, flags, flowers, in competitions and performances, we have integrated stories related to each event, bringing information to people in the fastest and most effective way”.

Create a joyful atmosphere to celebrate the Party and the New Year

In the next few days, there will be a new campaign to promote the content focusing on resolutions, programs, plans, and projects to implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; promoting visual propaganda work, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to celebrate the Party and the Year of the Dragon 2024. Mr. Duong Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: "This is an annual task, so the industry proactively plans early and implements it at the right time. Taking on the visual propaganda part, we continue to assign tasks to specialized units to carry out the campaign in the last week of this month."

It is expected to replace billboards and groups of billboards at key locations with appropriate content, hang over 1,000 flags of various types, banners...

Propaganda is carried out in various forms, in addition to visual agitation, there is also propaganda on mass media, propaganda integrated into competitions and performances with the theme of celebrating the glorious Party and celebrating the Spring of Giap Thin.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a Spring Newspaper Festival, Photo Exhibition and Spring Publication Selection Contest, organize mobile film screenings, art performances, and lion dance competitions simultaneously in districts, towns, and cities in the province. Depending on the conditions and strengths of each place, there will be a plan to organize a variety of propaganda activities in a variety of forms. Organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities, create many interesting playgrounds, help people enjoy spring, celebrate the traditional New Year in a healthy, exciting, and vibrant way.
