Accordingly, some tourists visiting Eo Gio (Nhon Ly commune, Quy Nhon city) were surprised when this place charged 22,000 VND/person for tickets. The ticket sellers introduced themselves as being under the tourism management team of Nhon Ly commune People 's Committee.
The QR code of the individual's bank account is posted at the ticket sales point to visit Eo Gio.
At the ticket sales point, there is a QR code for customers to transfer money to buy tickets. It is worth noting that this is a personal account number, not that of the People's Committee of Nhon Ly Commune. This has caused many people to express their concerns when buying tickets.
Regarding this issue, on February 21, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Chairman of Nhon Ly Commune People's Committee, said that the use of QR code of an individual's bank account is because Nhon Ly Commune currently does not have a separate account number for ticket collection. When tourists buy tickets to visit Eo Gio and transfer money to the account number, the staff will issue tickets to the visitors, the tickets sold will be tracked and recorded online by the tax authority.
In addition, Mr. Dung also affirmed that the employees working at Eo Gio are all strictly managed by the commune.
Eo Gio is one of the famous tourist destinations in Binh Dinh.
The leader of Quy Nhon City People's Committee confirmed that Nhon Ly Commune People's Committee has asked for the opinion of Quy Nhon City People's Committee on the above issue. The personal account number for collecting ticket money is monitored by Nhon Ly Commune People's Committee. "The ticket money is transferred from tourists to the bank account, then the whole team will count and hand it over to the commune," the leader of Quy Nhon City People's Committee added.
