On the evening of November 22, U17 Vietnam welcomed U17 Singapore at the PVF Center Stadium - Ministry of Public Security (Hung Yen) in the opening match of Group C of the 2026 AFC U17 Championship qualifiers. Coach Cristiano Roland's team dominated the game, showing good coordination in their moves.
Joy soon came to the U17 Vietnam fans when the home team received a penalty in the 4th minute. On the 11m mark, striker Le Trong Dai Nhan made no mistake in scoring to help U17 Vietnam take a 1-0 lead.

In the 38th minute, Minh Thuy received a pass from his teammate and immediately passed the ball to Dai Nhan. The U17 Vietnam striker calmly turned around and eliminated the opposing defender before making a pass back to Minh Thuy.
Facing 4 red shirts, the midfielder wearing the number 8 shirt calmly turned the ball and then fired a cool shot, defeating the opposing goalkeeper. Minh Thuy's goal helped Vietnam widen the gap to 3-0 before the first half ended.
Entering the second half, coach Cristiano Roland's team continued to show overwhelming strength against their opponents.
The constant pressure brought U17 Vietnam 3 more goals, thanks to Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc (minute 64) and Tran Manh Quan (minute 68 and minute 89).
In the end, U17 Vietnam won a devastating 6-0 victory over U17 Singapore. This result brought coach Cristiano Roland's team to second place in the table, behind U17 Malaysia due to the same points but a lower goal difference.
