Vietnam - Cambodia strengthen cooperation in the field of security industry

On October 25, in Hanoi, Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security, received a delegation from the General Department of Logistics and Finance, Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by General Seng You Orn, Director General, who visited and worked in Vietnam.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen highly appreciated the cooperation between functional units of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia in coordinating to ensure national security, maintain order and social safety in each country, contributing to consolidating and promoting the good relationship between the two Ministries to become increasingly deeper and more substantial. At the same time, he believed that the increase in high-level contacts between leaders of the two Ministries is the basis for the functional forces of the two sides to strengthen coordination more effectively in the coming time.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen hopes that the exchange between units under the Ministry of Public Security and the working delegation will open up many practical and effective cooperation directions in the fields of finance, health and security industry between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Expressing sincere thanks for the good feelings, the warm, friendly and thoughtful reception that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam has given to the working delegation, General Seng You Orn emphasized that over the past years, the cooperative relationship between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Vietnam has been developing strongly; he believes that in the coming years, the cooperative relationship between the two countries in general, between the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam will continue to be consolidated, developed, and achieve more results in the fields of ensuring social order and safety, preventing and combating all types of crimes, logistics, finance, and technology.

General Seng You Orn affirmed that in his position, he will strive to promote the cooperative relationship between the two Ministries, between the General Department of Logistics - Finance and the Logistics - Technical units of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to develop more effectively and practically in areas of mutual interest.
