Vietnam continues to affirm its culinary identity and role in cultural diplomacy by becoming a “global taste rendezvous” at the International Gastronomy Culture Festival 2025. The opening ceremony on November 23 in Hanoi opens a space where Vietnamese cuisine is not only honored but also becomes a bridge connecting friends from all over the world.
The event took place on November 22-23 at the Diplomatic Corps Area, with the theme “Trip of Flavors”. More than 120 booths, including more than 50 foreign embassies and cultural centers, showed the attractiveness of Vietnam as the host country.
On the first day, the “Three regions of Vietnam” area attracted many visitors with Hanoi pho, Quang noodles, Hue cakes, Saigon sandwiches, etc. Familiar dishes became “cultural ambassadors”, helping international friends understand more about the sophistication of Vietnamese cuisine . Activities such as the three-region culinary demonstration, “Vietnamese Flavors” and the “Digital Interactive Corner” application showed how Vietnam modernized the experience for visitors.
At the same time, booths from France, Mexico, India, Turkey, Korea, etc. added color, creating a "miniature world culinary map" in Hanoi. The festival continues to affirm Vietnam as an international cultural connection point./.
