At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang expressed his pleasure to visit Israel on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries; affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to consolidating and further developing the good friendship and cooperation with Israel, and expressed his joy at the positive developments in the cooperation between the two countries in recent times.
In order to further promote multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Israel, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the two countries increase high-level delegation exchanges.
In the economic field, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang affirmed that Vietnam encourages and creates favorable conditions for Israeli enterprises to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in areas where Israel has strengths and Vietnam has needs such as science and technology, innovation, startups, labor force, etc.

The President of Israel welcomed the historic visit of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, emphasizing that the visit will open up good opportunities to strongly promote multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides discussed and agreed on a number of specific measures to further enhance the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation, such as actively implementing the Free Trade Agreement to be signed during the visit, increasing trade turnover, promoting investment and tourism cooperation, soon opening direct flights, creating favorable conditions for visa issuance for citizens of the two countries to promote people-to-people exchange and economic cooperation, etc.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang respectfully conveyed the regards and invitation of President Vo Van Thuong to Israeli President Isaac Herzog to visit Vietnam soon. The Israeli President happily accepted the invitation and expressed his wish to follow in the footsteps of Israeli President Shimon Peres and soon visit Vietnam in the near future.
