The Arena of Valor International Championship 2025 (AIC 2025) kicked off on November 17 in the vibrant atmosphere typical of Lien Quan Mobile. This tournament also marked the return of FPT x Flash after winning the Winter Arena of Valor 2025 championship.

Against the heavyweight Buriram United Esports from Thailand, the Vietnamese representative had an emotional opening match, coming from behind to win 2-1 in the BO3 series. This could be an important "practice" match as both FPT x Flash and Buriram United Esports are representatives participating in the 33rd SEA Games.

In the first game, AOG's number one seed had a tough time as Buriram completely dominated the laning phase. Early jungle invasions caused Gray to lose his rhythm, causing Huy Hoang and Maris to be unable to deploy their poke-resistant frame, which is the team's strong point.

Buriram continuously controlled the big objective, quickly destroyed the tower and forced FPT x Flash to defend. Despite playing stubbornly and holding on to the match until the end, the Vietnamese representative could not "turn the tables" when the opponent had an overwhelming amount of equipment.

However, the game changed completely in game 2. Despite continuing to lose early in the game, FPT x Flash took a strong lead thanks to a series of excellent plays by jungler Gray. In particular, 2 important punishes helped this team keep Caesar and limit Buriram's lane pushing speed.

As the soldiers started to balance, FPT x Flash gradually increased the tempo. Huy Hoang put strong pressure on both wings, BETROC had space to deal damage, while Maris continuously created breakthroughs in the fight. The team took 2 super soldiers and finished with a decisive total attack, equalizing the score 1-1.

The deciding game witnessed the absolute power of the reigning champion of the Winter Arena of Glory 2025. Right from level 2, Gray proactively left the mid lane to invade the red buff, opening the fight early and creating the premise for the first blood.

Buriram was caught up in a fast-paced game, while Gray continued to control the jungle well, causing the opposing team's PogPog and Nunu players to constantly fall into a state of lacking resources. When Yutan's TeeMee initiated a precise fight in the mid lane, FPT x Flash destroyed the opponent's central tower after only 7 minutes, a turning point that completely lost Buriram's vision.

From here, FPT x Flash dominated the game. They controlled both Dragon and Caesar, leading by more than 8,000 gold at minute 12. BETROC maintained a stable performance, repeatedly unleashing key damage to penetrate Buriram's defense, while Huy Hoang continuously flanked, making it difficult for the opponent to organize a direct fight.

With 3 super minion lanes opened, Buriram had no defense left. AOG’s No. 1 seed finished the match with a clean attack, securing a 2-1 victory.

The emotional performance of FPT x Flash showed a clear maturity after winning the championship at the Winter Arena of Glory 2025. The members maintained a good mentality, adapted quickly and knew how to exploit the opponent's weaknesses at important moments. With this favorable start, the AOG representative promises to become one of the most notable candidates at AIC 2025.
