The Vietnam International Music and Arts Festival 2025 (VIMAF) is the first time Vietnam has hosted an international music and arts festival.
Singapore, Russia, America, Australia..., why not Vietnam?
The organizer is the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association (VCIDA), the coordinating unit is the Vietnam Institute of Art Education (VIA Education) in collaboration with the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association. The professional advisory unit is Soul Institute of Arts (SIA).
Regarding the difference, practical significance and competition of VIMAF compared to the current boom and attraction of reality TV talent shows (game shows), artist - educator Thanh Bui shared: "Each contest is a valuable opportunity for the young generation. I have also participated in game shows to discover talents and they have become very famous."

According to him, VIMAF has a broader and universal vision, not limited to region, form and age. VIMAF is not a competition, award or ranking, but a healthy, pure and real playground to develop global talent, connect equally to bring Vietnam to the world and bring the world to Vietnam.
"Many years ago, if our children wanted to compete or participate in international competitions, we had to go abroad to Singapore, Russia, the US, Australia... I asked why we in Vietnam need and still lack a global-standard playground to attract regional and world talent to Vietnam" - Thanh Bui said.
