At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 22, in response to a reporter's question about the outstanding results of the State visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Thu Hang affirmed: "General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with the high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam, have successfully concluded the State visit to China. The visit was a great success in all aspects, contributing to promoting the building of a community of shared future between Vietnam and China, which has strategic significance, contributing to peace, stability and development of the region and the world . The two sides issued a Joint Statement on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, promoting the building of a community of shared future between Vietnam and China."

Some of the key outcomes of the visit include:

Firstly, the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries affirmed their importance to the bilateral relationship, considered the development of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries as a strategic choice, and affirmed their support for each other in realizing the goals of national development. The two sides agreed to continue to effectively implement the high-level common perceptions reached between the two Parties and the two countries during recent visits, further strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and promote the building of a community of shared future between Vietnam and China in the direction of 6. The two sides agreed to facilitate trade and expand the export of Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products to China. The two sides encouraged and supported enterprises with capacity, reputation, and advanced technology to invest in each other's countries and expand cooperation in new areas such as digital economy , circular economy, green development, clean energy, and renewable energy. Third, the two sides agreed to take 2025 as the year of Vietnam-China people-to-people exchange and jointly organize a series of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China. Fourth, the two sides will strengthen coordination and multilateral cooperation, and enhance cooperation in mechanisms such as the United Nations and APEC. Fifth, the two sides had in-depth and frank exchanges of opinions on maritime issues, emphasizing the need to better control and actively resolve maritime disputes on the basis of compliance with high-level common perceptions, agreements on basic principles guiding the settlement of maritime issues between Vietnam and China, international law, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), and jointly maintain peace and stability in the East Sea and the region. The two sides also agreed to continue to coordinate effectively in implementing legal documents on land borders and related agreements, and strengthen cooperation in the land border area between Vietnam and China. On this occasion, ministries, branches and localities of Vietnam and China signed 16 cooperation documents in areas such as interconnection, industry, customs quarantine inspection, health , press and media, cooperation between localities as well as people's livelihood.
