Vinamac Expo 2025: Connecting markets for industrial products

250 domestic and foreign industrial enterprises participated in market promotion at the Vinamac Expo 2025 Exhibition taking place from May 14-16 in Hanoi.

The International Exhibition on Machinery, Equipment, Technology and Industrial Products (Vinamac Expo 2025) is not only an event to showcase advanced technology in key industries but also a meeting place to promote trade, link markets and promote technology transfer in the industry.

More than 300 booths, converging modern products and technology

This year's Vinamac Expo 2025 brings together more than 300 booths of 250 domestic and international enterprises and organizations, introducing a series of modern technologies and products in the fields of: Automation, control technology, industrial equipment, hand tools, hardware, welding and cutting technology, metal processing, cast iron and steel, mineral exploitation...

The highlight is the exhibition area designed according to the model of "Common House" to introduce key industrial products of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, it conveys a clear message about the policy of developing supporting industries and business support programs. Not only is it a display space, this area is also an "orientation map" to help businesses update trade, cooperation, and attract investment from the markets.

Along with the exhibition activities are a series of special specialized events, such as: Digital transformation forum, smart industry, welding skills competition, business exchange of hardware, hand tools between Vietnam and international, connecting supply and demand of mining equipment between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises... These activities not only help increase interaction but also open up opportunities to realize trade and technical cooperation.

Notably, the exhibition also connects with industrial parks and export processing zones in Hanoi , Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong... through survey and investment consulting activities to explore opportunities for businesses to build factories. With a series of rich activities, the Organizing Committee of Vinamac Expo 2025 hopes that the exhibition will not only be a meeting place for businesses but also expand opportunities to develop new industrial projects.

Vinamac Expo is not simply a trade event, but is gradually becoming a platform for investment promotion, promoting the development of key industries, especially in the context of Vietnam promoting green transformation, digital transformation and improving self-reliance in the supporting industry sector.

Therefore, according to the Organizing Committee, the rotating exhibitions between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have recorded a steady increase in the number of enterprises each year. In particular, the presence of major brands, international promotion organizations and professional associations has affirmed that Vinamac Expo is a key event, helping to promote products, enhance competitiveness, and gradually position the brand of Vietnamese industry.

Enhance domestic competitiveness

In the context of Vietnam's efforts to shift towards developing a green, clean economy , the application of advanced equipment and automated production lines is always given priority, especially in the manufacturing, metallurgical and manufacturing industries. Accordingly, joint venture cooperation and product development between Vietnamese enterprises and partners with advanced processing and manufacturing industries in the world according to the criteria of green trade, energy and green industry is an urgent need.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Bui Van Hanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Korean Science and Technology emphasized that along with the development of the industrial mechanical industry, domestically manufactured equipment is competing with imported products. At the same time, it shows that Vietnamese enterprises are constantly making efforts to integrate with the international market.

Appreciating the role of Vinamac Expo in organizing professional forums that create practical opportunities for Vietnamese and international businesses to display outstanding new products and technologies with high applicability, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Van Hanh said that with this combination, Vietnamese businesses will have many opportunities to exchange and cooperate for development.

According to the Industry and Trade Newspaper, in addition to Vietnamese enterprises, Vinamac Expo 2025 continues to attract the participation of a large number of international enterprises, especially Chinese enterprises with more than 180 units, participating in the exhibition, introducing a series of high-tech products on metallurgy, hardware, and automation.

Sharing with the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the representative of Boyue Company (China) - Mr. Ha Dong Quyen said that Chinese industrial enterprises highly appreciate the potential of the Vietnamese market. At the same time, they have the need and desire to expand relations with Vietnamese partners through market promotion events such as the Vinamac Expo exhibition.

With the participation of many international enterprises, Vinamac Expo 2025 is also an opportunity for domestic enterprises to affirm their position.

Ms. Truong Thi Viet Hang - representative of Dai Hong Phat Company informed that this unit brought to the exhibition a group of mechanical products of shaft movement, not only supplying the domestic market but also exporting to some Southeast Asian countries. Through the exhibition, it is expected to find more domestic and foreign partners, thereby expanding the supply chain in the supporting industrial manufacturing industry.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Toan - Director of ETEC Automation Engineering Co., Ltd., the participation of foreign enterprises brings a vibrant atmosphere to the industrial trade event. This also shows that the market, as well as the supporting industry of Vietnam, has a lot of development potential. In particular, it will create a great competitive motivation for domestic enterprises.

" However, to compete and promote development in the industry, Vietnamese enterprises must invest and improve product quality to be able to participate in the global supply chain in a sustainable manner, " Mr. Toan emphasized.

Following the success in Hanoi, the 22nd Vinamac Expo is scheduled to take place from November 27-29, 2025, gathering more than 500 booths and 350 Vietnamese and international organizations and businesses. The event promises to bring great opportunities for trade and cooperation for experts, businesses and those interested in the industry.
