VinFast Limo Green, Vietnam's first 7-seat electric MPV

VinFast launched Limo Green, Vietnam's first 7-seat electric MPV, directly competing with family MPV models from Japan and China.

VinFast has just officially introduced an electric MPV model called Limo Green, marking the first time the company has entered the all-electric multi-purpose vehicle segment. This is also the first 7-seat electric MPV model produced in Vietnam, targeting the fast-growing family and service customer segment.

Limo Green is positioned between the small and medium-sized MPV segment, combining a compact urban design with spacious space for 7 people. The exterior has a minimalist style typical of electric vehicles with modern LED lights, aerodynamic rims and a monolithic front end without a grille.

The most prominent feature is the all-electric powertrain. Although VinFast has not yet announced technical details, the car is expected to have smooth operation, a battery that meets daily travel needs, and integrates fast charging technology and high safety standards.

The Limo Green will compete with MPV models such as the Toyota Innova Cross, Hyundai Custin and Chinese cars such as the BYD M6, GAC M6 Pro. However, most of the competitors use internal combustion engines, while the Limo Green stands out with its pure electric configuration, becoming the only zero-emission option in the segment.

If priced reasonably and charging infrastructure continues to expand, Limo Green promises to be an attractive choice not only for individual consumers but also for transport units, contributing to bringing electric vehicles closer to Vietnamese people in the popular segment.

The car has been accepted for deposit in March 2025, the first batches of cars are expected to be delivered to customers in the third quarter of 2025.

Limo Green will be one of the heavyweight competitors compared to rivals in the 7-seat MPV segment in Vietnam.
