Rolls-Royce has just celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Phantom line with a special edition called the Phantom Centenary Private Collection. With only 25 cars produced globally, this model is considered the most complex and elaborate collection in the history of the company.

The Phantom Centenary Private Collection was crafted over 40,000 hours of work, recreating the hundred-year journey of the world's most luxurious icon. Rolls-Royce describes it as a "moving work of art", affirming the Phantom's position as a symbol of ambition, innovation and heritage.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Centenary Private Collection impresses with its two-tone Arctic White – Black exterior, the paint containing finely ground glass beads, creating a special iridescent effect when reflecting light.

On the hood, the Spirit of Ecstasy is crafted from solid 18K gold and plated with 24K anti-tarnish gold. The pedestal is hand-cast in white enamel and engraved with the words Phantom Centenary.

Gold continues to appear subtly in many different places. From the white enamel Rolls-Royce logo and 24K gold rim, to the special wheels with 25 engravings representing the 25 cars produced. Every detail reflects the traditional spirit of craftsmanship, where each line is created to honor the value of perfection.

Inside the cabin, the Phantom Centenary Private Collection feels like a mobile art exhibition. The entire rear seat is designed like a painting that tells the 100-year journey of the Phantom line, with three layers of delicately arranged images.
7.jpg
The base layer on the seats simulates landmarks associated with the brand's history, the second layer recreates generations of Phantom through the ages, while the top layer is hand-embroidered motifs representing the seven famous owners who have owned this car line.

The special embroidery took over a year to complete, with over 160,000 stitches. The fabric back seat upholstery, rather than leather, is also a nod to the early 20th century, when leather seats were reserved for drivers only, and rear passengers were privileged with the softness of premium fabrics.
10.jpg
The front seats also have their own signature laser-etched motifs. One of them is the image of “Seagull” - the code name of the Phantom I launched in 1923, along with the “Roger Rabbit” logo, a reminder of the time when the Rolls-Royce brand was revived in 2003.
13.jpg
The fusion of tradition and modernity is evident in every detail, from the dashboard, door panels to the 24K gold-plated knobs. The interior continues to be embellished with rare handcrafted details.
15.jpg
The stained Blackwood is laser-engraved and 24K gold-plated, creating a unique depth effect. The rear folding tables feature engraved images of the 1925 Phantom I and Phantom VIII, paying homage to past and present. Another special highlight is the Starlight Headliner, hand-embroidered with 440,000 stitches, representing milestones in the car’s history.
11.jpg
Under the hood, Rolls-Royce remains faithful to the familiar 6.75-liter V12 engine. However, the engine compartment is now finished in Arctic White and accented with 24K gold details, turning the technical part into a visual art.

The Phantom Centenary Private Collection is more than just a means of transportation, it is a work of art that embodies time, craftsmanship and technology. Over a century, Rolls-Royce remains the epitome of luxury and sophistication.

With the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, the British brand affirms that heritage is not just for viewing in museums, but continues to move, living with time on every journey. The car's price, according to some sources, is around 3 million dollars.
