Comrade Phan Thi Ngan Hanh, President of the Provincial Women's Union, said that the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Contest in 2024 was launched by the Vietnam Women's Union in March 2024. This is a topic of practical significance in the context of climate change causing severe damage in recent times; at the same time, it contributes to promoting the role of women in sustainable development and implementing the National Strategy on Green Growth for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Third Prize to the authors at the 2024 "Women in Creative Startups and Green Transformation" Contest. In the photo, Ms. Luong Thi Mai Huong (wearing a yellow ao dai) received the Third Prize.
It is known that the Contest has received a large response from members and women nationwide participating in the contest, with 2,545 ideas and startup projects with content and initiatives on circular economy, green economy and digital economy, projects that create safe, environmentally friendly products with practical value for the community. After objective rounds of judging, the Organizing Committee selected 80 typical projects to enter the final round in 3 regions North-Central-South. As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 40 outstanding startup projects nationwide to award and honor at the National Final Ceremony of the Contest "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" in 2024. Of which, 2 projects of Ninh Thuan Women were honored at the contest including: Project to build a model of cultivating and processing products from Spirulina algae by Ms. Luong Thi Mai Huong, Tran Gia Production Company Limited won the Third Prize; The project "Application of greenhouse effect in salt production activities to adapt to climate change" by Ms. Pham Thi Giao Thanh, Phuong Hai Salt Production and Trading Cooperative won the Encouragement Prize.
