Honoring the 4 best innovative solutions in 2023

The award-winning products at the Vietnam Innovative Solutions Announcement Ceremony show that the demand for digital transformation in Vietnam is growing strongly.

On September 8, 2023, at the Announcement Ceremony of Vietnam Innovation Solutions, under the Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) program chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the 12 most potential solutions participating in the program were honored.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment, said that in order for innovation to be substantive, effective, and widespread, in addition to the direction and orientation from the Party and State, the attention and coordination of ministries, central and local agencies, and the participation of enterprises, the cooperation and consensus of the whole society is needed.

He also suggested that the Vietnamese business community pay attention to and put into use the typical solutions announced, and highly appreciated the coordination and companionship of partner Meta , along with important partners such as VNPT, CMC , FPT, SVF, Phygital Labs who have actively participated in the Program in many roles.

According to Mr. Simon Milner - Vice President of Meta Group in charge of public policy in the Asia-Pacific region, the thriving digital ecosystem that Vietnam's hardworking and creative startups have built, along with support from the Government's right policies to encourage digital transformation, is something to be very proud of.

In addition, Mr. Simon also took the opportunity to reaffirm and emphasize Meta’s long-term commitment to supporting innovation in Vietnam’s digital economy. The projects awarded at the ceremony will help build a more prosperous Vietnam in the coming decades.

Among 758 proposals for potential digital transformation solutions and products from many countries with large and developed innovation ecosystems such as Korea, the US, Singapore, and Hong Kong (China), 24 typical products and solutions with the potential to strongly promote digital transformation of businesses were selected.

The 4 best innovative solutions out of 24 typical solutions were honored under the witness of Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung - Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Simon Milner - Vice President of Meta Group in charge of public policy in the Asia - Pacific region; leaders of ministries, departments, state management agencies and relevant parties.

Also at the ceremony, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung announced the official theme of the Vietnam Innovation Challenge Program 2024: "Innovation with businesses to promote the semiconductor industry and smart manufacturing to conquer the global market", aiming to continue accompanying Vietnamese businesses on the journey to move up the ladder in the global value chain.
