Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Vice President of the Central Vietnam Youth Union - said that after 10 years of organization, the program "Sharing with teachers" has honored 576 outstanding teachers across the country.

The honored teachers come from remote, border and island areas. From special classes for disabled children to literacy classes of teachers in green uniforms. Each teacher is a beautiful story, a steadfast light in the silent journey of spreading letters, preserving knowledge and contributing to protecting every inch of the Fatherland's border.

"In 2025, the program will take on a special meaning when honoring 80 teachers and Border Guard officers and soldiers who are directly teaching in 248 border communes, wards and towns of 22 provinces and cities.

Among the honored faces, there are teachers who have devoted their entire working lives to their profession, quietly staying at school and in their villages, becoming a pillar of knowledge in lands with many difficulties.

There are teachers who are very young but have made constant efforts, quickly asserted their professional capacity and achieved many proud achievements. There are also those who have overcome their own circumstances, persistently spreading knowledge in the most remote areas of the Fatherland," Mr. Lam shared.

Among the teachers honored this year, there are 36 teachers from ethnic minorities, representing 18 ethnic groups such as Thai, Muong, Mong, La Chi, Bo Y, Co Tu, Jrai, Ha Nhi...

Expressing his deep gratitude to the teachers, Mr. Lam believes that their love for the profession and dedication are a great source of inspiration for the young generation of Vietnam.

On this occasion, 80 teachers received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, commemorative medals and savings books worth 10 million VND and many other gifts.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 13, leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training met, encouraged and awarded certificates of merit to 80 teachers attending the program. On the morning of November 14, 80 teachers visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature.
