The working delegation of Vinh Long province had effective working sessions with the government, corporations and large enterprises of Korea.

During the working trip, Tra Vinh University signed a memorandum of understanding with Anyang University (Anyang City). The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in student training, lecturer exchange, scientific research and bilateral scholarships. This is considered a success in the university's investment and trade promotion activities in Korea.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa - Rector of Tra Vinh University said: "Through this signing, we really hope to increase the presence of lecturers and students of Tra Vinh University in the international arena. At the same time, it is an opportunity to invite leading professors, experts and intellectuals from foreign universities to participate in professional and academic activities of Tra Vinh University."

Within the framework of the program, the delegation of Vinh Long province also had effective working sessions with the government and the City Council of Daejeon, the government of Anyang City and many large corporations and enterprises of Korea, including Samsung Group. The working sessions opened up cooperation opportunities in the fields of science and technology, education, digital transformation, renewable energy, high-tech industry, processing and exporting agricultural products, contributing to promoting sustainable development for Vinh Long province.

At the Investment and Trade Promotion Conference and the discussion to promote investment cooperation between Vinh Long province and Korean partners held in Daejeon city, many Korean enterprises and associations attended and expressed their interest in the province’s investment environment. The event contributed to promoting the image of a dynamic, transparent Vinh Long, ready to welcome international investors.

Mr. Nguyen Van Bay - Director of Huy Thinh Phat Import Export Company said that the trip helps the company connect with more potential partners, opening up opportunities to expand production, export products to Korea, and create more jobs for local workers.

“Huy Thinh Phat Company produces coconut fiber nets and mats and has been exporting to the Korean market for 10 years now. Through this trip, we have met and connected with many potential partners. Hopefully in the future, we will supply a large quantity, contributing to creating jobs for local workers and bringing the Huy Thinh Phat brand further into the international market,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Bay.

Through the working trip, the image of Vinh Long people and land was widely introduced to the business community, government and organizations in Korea.
