The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province has just approved 2 land mines in Decision No. 904/QD-UBND on the plan to Auction the right to exploit minerals for common construction materials (fill soil) in Vinh Phuc province, phase 1 in 2025, including: Go Vau land mine and Go Da land mine in Thong Nhat village, Phuong Khoan commune, Song Lo district.
In which, the Go Vau landfill has an area of about 5 hectares, with a soil reserve of nearly 670 thousand m3; the Go Da landfill has an area of about 3 hectares, with a soil reserve of over 400 thousand m3.
Both mines have not yet had any exploration results, reserve and quality assessment. The current status of the mine area is a production forest. The expected auction date is June 2025.
According to the plan, the auction will be carried out in 2025. In case the mineral exploitation rights auction is not carried out in 2025 according to the approved plan, it will be transferred to the mineral exploitation rights auction in the following years.
The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, the People's Committee of Song Lo district and relevant agencies and units to prepare documents and organize the implementation of the auction of mineral exploitation rights in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, publicly announce the area with minerals to be auctioned and basic information about the minerals to be auctioned; information about the auction of mineral exploitation rights according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province assigned relevant departments, branches and sectors together with the People's Committee of Song Lo district and the Tax Department of Region VIII, based on their functions and tasks, to be responsible for closely coordinating with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, relevant agencies and units in the process of organizing the auction of mineral exploitation rights and implementing contents related to the auction of mineral exploitation rights.
