(HBĐT) - Having heard a lot about the name Vinh Hy Bay with many "best" names, on this journey to the South Central region, we scheduled a visit. Get off the glass-bottom boat to see the coral and the sea, the vast sky, get on a raft to enjoy the culinary culture of the coastal region, then continue the journey to visit the famous Hang Rai, the "pearl" on the shore of Vinh Hy Bay. Many tourists in the group exclaimed and wished: "Time, please stop"!
Tourists experience glass-bottom boat tourism to see corals and marine life in Vinh Hy Bay (Ninh Thuan).
Vinh Hy Bay is a small bay located in Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district (Ninh Thuan). The bay has 3 sides East - West - North surrounded by Chua mountain 1,040m high, the Southeast side is the bay gate facing the vast ocean. Welcoming the group at the junction between Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province and Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province, Mr. Mai Quoc Thanh, a local tour guide, introduced: We are traveling on one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam. First, let's stop at a stop to take a few photos, because standing there, looking out, you will see Vinh Hy Bay like a giant basin surrounded by undulating hills and mountains and the mossy green sea water.
On the way to the bay, we were briefly introduced: This sea area has coral reefs of various shapes and mysterious caves that attract adventure enthusiasts. Some activities that tourists should not miss when coming to Vinh Hy Bay are swimming in the clear water, diving to see corals, and taking a glass-bottom boat to visit the bay. If the tour group has more than 10 people, the cost of the tour will be cheaper and more fun when tourists board the glass-bottom boat together to experience fishing and coral viewing activities. If stopping at the shore of the bay, tourists can visit and learn about the lives of fishermen in the raft villages living in the bay, swimming, diving or climbing mountains.
For only 100,000 - 150,000 VND, visitors can rent a specialized diving suit along with many other equipment such as swimming goggles, snorkel, oxygen tank, then the tour guide will guide the basic techniques. At this time, visitors can dive into the sea and transform into a mermaid, happily playing with schools of colorful fish weaving through the sparkling coral reefs.
With its geographical location at the end of the South Central region, Vinh Hy Bay in particular and Ninh Thuan province in general have the highest number of sunny days in the year, almost no rain and almost no storms. Because the bay is located in the position of "1 sea, 3 forests", the sea is quite calm, the climate is mild and pleasant, so visitors can visit at any time of the year. However, if you want to fully admire the beautiful scenery of mountains, forests and sea, visitors should come to the bay from February to October, especially from March to July. At this time, Vinh Hy wears a beautiful sunny color, calm sea, gentle waves, very suitable for traveling as well as participating in underwater activities.
Along with Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh), Lan Ha (Hai Phong), Lang Co (Hue), Vinh Hy Bay is voted as one of the four most beautiful bays in Vietnam. Because it has not yet reached the stage of "hot" development, Vinh Hy still retains its wild, majestic beauty, without dust pollution or hustle and bustle. However, Vinh Hy currently has many accommodation addresses to meet the needs of tourists. If tourists want to stay for many days, they can choose hotels or homestays right on the bay. More upscale, they can aim for Amanoi Vinh Hy, a 6-star resort located on the back of Chua Mountain (the resort was voted as one of the 33 best resorts in the world).
With its favorable location, Vinh Hy Bay is connected to many famous tourist destinations in Ninh Thuan. From Vinh Hy, visitors can combine exploring Hang Rai, Thai An vineyard, Nui Chua National Park, or head straight to Phan Rang-Thap Cham city... to enjoy more attractive tourist destinations.
With limited time, we could only choose the glass-bottom boat service to visit the bay. Have lunch on the bay and return to shore to explore Hang Rai - a place with a magical beauty that is likened to a fairyland on earth or a "pearl" on the shore of Vinh Hy Bay. At the end of the tour, some members of the group commented: Looking with the naked eye, Vinh Hy Bay is as beautiful as the Mediterranean Sea, the place chosen as the setting (film set) in the world's "blockbuster" movies. With its wild, majestic beauty, fresh climate and typical tourism products such as swimming, mountain climbing, glass-bottom boat rides, scuba diving to see corals... Vinh Hy Bay is considered a special highlight in the journey to explore Ninh Thuan in particular and the South Central region in general.
