ANTD.VN - The trio of Vin stocks contributed more than half of the increase in the VN-Index, with VIC hitting the ceiling. The stock market continued to have a fairly positive trading session.

At the opening of this morning's trading session, demand was relatively active right from the opening minutes, after the strongest increase in a month and a half yesterday. The indices were quickly pulled up above the reference, but the increase was not too high.

Stock market maintains positive growth momentum thanks to real estate stocks

Bluechip stocks are the main driving force helping the market maintain its upward momentum. After yesterday's explosive session of securities stocks, this morning, cash flow has shifted to the real estate group, helping many stocks increase very positively such as PDR, DXG, NVL, DIG, CII...

In addition, the market still receives positive support from the group of banking pillar stocks. Although bank stocks have not yet accelerated, the green color spreading throughout the industry continues to be a good support to help the market maintain a stable green color.

Bluechip stocks, with the focus on banks, are still the mainstay of the market. However, the increase was not too strong and faced selling pressure at the end of the morning session, so it could not help the market break out.

At the end of the morning session, the HOSE floor had 269 stocks increasing and 169 stocks decreasing, VN-Index increased by 3.37 points (+0.26%), to 1,321.59 points. Total trading volume reached 487.6 million units, worth more than 10,090 billion VND.

The VN30 group still increased better than the market, reaching more than 6 points, with 17 stocks increasing and 8 stocks decreasing.

The HNX traded actively at the beginning of the session, but the increase narrowed towards the end of the morning session. On the floor, there were 62 stocks increasing and 71 stocks decreasing, the HNX-Index increased slightly by 0.3 points (+0.13%), to 238.31 points.

Meanwhile, UPCoM-Index this morning decreased 0.15 points (-0.15%) to 99.2 points.

In the afternoon session, the breakthrough from the real estate group helped the indices expand their growth momentum. In particular, the trio of Vin stocks unexpectedly made a strong breakthrough. Of which, VIC increased by the maximum amplitude, VHM increased by 3.1% and VRE increased by 1.96%. These three stocks alone contributed more than 4 points, equivalent to more than half of the VN-Index's growth momentum.

This positive development comes from the information that the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange announced that it had received a listing registration dossier for nearly 1.8 billion shares of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company - a business in the Vin "ecosystem".

In addition to the real estate group, banking and securities are also relatively active trading groups today.

At the end of the trading session, VN-Index increased by 7.83 points (0.59%) to 1,326.05 points. HOSE recorded 271 stocks increasing, 185 stocks decreasing. Trading volume decreased slightly compared to yesterday's session, reaching more than 957.5 million units, equivalent to nearly 20,800 billion VND.

Foreign investors turned to net sell 147 billion after a strong net buy of 431 billion VND yesterday.

HNX-Index traded sideways with an increase of 0.4 points (0.17%) to 238.41 points. Meanwhile, UPCoM-Index decreased 0.27 points (-0.27%) to 99.08 points.
