VN-Index giảm nhẹ trong phiên giao dịch 13/11, DGC bứt phá với mức tăng trần 6,95%
VN-Index slightly decreased in the trading session on November 13, DGC broke out with a ceiling increase of 6.95%

Although VN-Index remained almost flat throughout the trading session, DGC shares of Duc Giang Chemical Group Joint Stock Company created a bright spot when they increased by the full margin (+6.95%), reaching the price of 100,000 VND/share, the highest level in the past two months. This is a strong recovery of chemical stocks, bringing DGC's capitalization to nearly 38,000 billion VND.

DGC has attracted attention thanks to information about a large-scale real estate project of a subsidiary of Duc Giang Chemical Group. Hanoi City recently approved the investment policy for the project of a complex of public works, schools and housing in Viet Hung ward, Long Bien, with a scale of up to more than 47,470 m². This project has a total investment capital of 4,500 billion VND and is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2030. The rapid implementation of this project with easy approval has increased expectations about the future development potential of DGC.

In addition to DGC, industrial park real estate stocks also attracted strong cash flow, thanks to the positive outlook from industrial park infrastructure projects. Some stocks in this industry recorded strong increases, such as IDC (+6.11%), SIP (+4.69%), and SZC (+4.56%). In addition, energy stocks such as PVD and GEE also hit the ceiling, with PVD increasing by 5.11% and GEE increasing by 6.98%.

Stocks in the industrial and telecommunications groups also recorded significant gains. Specifically, VGI increased by 5.25%, HAH (+5.1%), and VSC (+2.09%) while GEE stock became one of the most prominent codes of the session with an increase of 6.98%.

Despite the clear market differentiation, large-cap stocks were under pressure to correct in the session of November 13. In particular, the banking group, which accounts for the largest proportion of the market, recorded a strong differentiation. Banking stocks such as STB (-3.75%), VPB (-0.89%) and FPT (-1.69%) decreased, while some other codes such asSHB (+0.31%) and TCB (+0.29%) still maintained a slight increase.

Notably, foreign investors continued to sell strongly, with a net selling value of nearly VND988 billion. This negatively impacted investor sentiment, creating downward pressure on the market. However, domestic demand was still strong enough to keep the market from falling into a deep decline.

Market breadth on the HoSE floor was tilted towards the green, with 163 stocks increasing, 138 stocks decreasing and 63 stocks remaining unchanged. The clear differentiation created a relatively balanced market picture. Liquidity on the HoSE floor reached VND21,737 billion, up slightly by 1.8% compared to the morning session. However, cash flow was still mainly focused on industrial, chemical and consumer goods stocks, while securities and real estate stocks continued to be under pressure.

Although the VN-Index slightly decreased by 0.42 points in the trading session on November 13, the market still had bright spots thanks to the strong growth of some industry groups. Industrial, energy and chemical stocks such as DGC, PVD, and GEE led the market while the banking and securities groups still faced difficulties. Investors' cautious sentiment, combined with cash flow withdrawn from the financial group, continued to cause market differentiation. However, the stability of large stocks and expectations for selected industries still created positive signals for the market in the coming time.
