NDO - On Monday, November 4th, the market experienced a tug-of-war with selling pressure dominating. Many sectors saw stocks in the red, with large-cap stocks like VCB, VPB, GVR, andFPT falling sharply. This negative impact caused the VN-Index to drop 10.18 points at the close of trading, to 1,244.71 points.
Market liquidity continued to increase significantly compared to the previous session, with a total trading volume of over 787.21 million shares across all three exchanges, equivalent to a total trading value of over 17,009.14 billion VND.
Foreign investors continued their net selling streak for the 17th consecutive session, with a value exceeding VND 710.05 billion, focusing on stocks such as MSN (over VND 245 billion), VHM (over VND 201 billion), FPT (over VND 101 billion), SSI (over VND 45 billion), DXG (over VND 40 billion), etc.
Conversely, stocks with the highest net buying volume in this session included STB (over 76 billion VND), MWG (over 61 billion VND), TCB (over 43 billion VND), CTG (over 24 billion VND), VPB (over 15 billion VND), etc.
On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session was approximately the same as the previous session, reaching over 13,369.25 billion VND.
