According to the document, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company stated that recently, the unit discovered that Mr. LQN (residing in My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province) had used his personal fan page and zalo account to post distorted, untrue information, defaming the honor and reputation, seriously affecting the image and production activities of the company.
The information that Mr. LQN posted “intentionally slandered and exaggerated the company’s production process and product quality; caused public confusion, negatively affected the psychology of consumers, partners and local communities; and seriously violated the law on management, provision and use of internet services and information on the network”.
With the above contents, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company recommends that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Soc Trang province consider, verify and handle in accordance with the law the individual who posted the above-mentioned false and defamatory content; request the removal of all violating content and have a form of public correction of information.
Previously, on Facebook, information quickly spread that a "former employee" of the CP Fresh Shop chain in My Xuyen, Soc Trang (belonging to CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company) reported that the company intentionally smuggled poor quality meat products into the market.
The content of the reflection revolves around the fact that CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company mixed diseased pork and diseased, rotten chicken, and then forced store employees to sell them on the market. As soon as the information appeared, Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Lau issued an urgent dispatch directing the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to organize surprise inspections according to the reported content, and at the same time strictly handle violations, if any, in accordance with the provisions of law.
On the same afternoon, the interdisciplinary inspection team of Soc Trang province directly inspected CP Fresh Shop stores in the area, the unit was reported to be smuggling poor quality pork and chicken products into the market.
