On the afternoon of June 2, Mr. Le Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Nha Trang City Labor Federation and Chairman of the Nha Trang Cyclo Union, said that the unit had held a meeting and agreed to revoke the union membership card, vehicle registration number, and union uniform of Mr. D.L. (57 years old, residing in Phu Yen province).
According to Mr. Nhat, the handling of Mr. L. was announced publicly so that other union members could learn from the experience.

Mr. L. was reported to have snatched money from a foreign female tourist, causing offense and affecting the tourism image of Nha Trang city.
According to Mr. L., on the evening of May 30, he picked up two Russian tourists from 1 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street to 98 Tran Phu Street (more than 1.5km). Initially, the tourists asked about the price, Mr. L. said 50,000 VND and the tourists agreed to get in the car. However, when they arrived, the tourists only gave 5,000 VND, so Mr. L. did not agree.
Mr. L. said that after that, the customer gave him 35,000 VND, but Mr. L. waved his hand in disagreement because he had previously agreed on 50,000 VND. In the end, he had to take the 35,000 VND that the female customer gave him.
"When I took the money, I was in a hurry, so I behaved in an uncivilized manner towards the customer," Mr. L. recounted.
The Chairman of the Nha Trang Cyclo Union shared: “Mr. L. is a rural person, illiterate, with difficult circumstances, who came to Nha Trang city to make a living. However, just because of a moment of anger, he committed an offensive act.”
At the review session, Mr. L. also admitted that his actions were wrong, violated the rules and regulations of the Nha Trang Cyclo Union, violated traffic safety and affected the city's tourism image.
"Mr. L. has apologized to the female tourist he misbehaved with," informed the Chairman of the Nha Trang Cyclo Union.
Earlier, on the afternoon of May 31, a nearly 30-second clip was circulated on Facebook, recording a scene of a cyclo driver carrying a foreign female tourist and a little girl. Upon arrival, the female tourist handed over some money, after which a conflict and argument broke out between the cyclo driver and the passenger.
During the argument, the man snatched the money from the female tourist’s hand. Seeing the cyclo driver acting aggressively, the female tourist quickly took the girl’s hand and left.
