Work accident in Binh Duong: Identities of 3 unfortunate victims have been identified

At noon on April 17, Dat Cuoc Commune Police (Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province) reported on a particularly serious work accident that occurred at Minh An Vina Company Limited, in Dat Cuoc Industrial Park. The heartbreaking incident left three people dead.

Specifically, the three unfortunate victims were identified as: Trinh Van Quoc (born in 1986, from Soc Trang province); Tran Quoc Thanh (born in 1989, from Binh Duong province) and Tran Van Loi (born in 1978, from Kien Giang province).

According to initial information, at around 7am on April 17, the 3 victims and 2 others went to work at Minh An Vina Company Limited. While removing the metal floor supports, the iron floor suddenly collapsed.

As a result, Trinh Van Quoc and Tran Quoc Thanh died on the spot. As for Mr. Loi, although he was quickly taken to the emergency room, due to the severity of his injuries, the victim died on the way to the hospital.

Immediately after receiving the report of the accident, Dat Cuoc Commune Police promptly arrived at the scene. The authorities coordinated with relevant people to record, block off the scene, collect witness statements and extract data from security cameras in the surrounding area to serve the investigation.

A representative of the Binh Duong Industrial Park Management Board said that the factory was registered under the name of Minh An Vina Company and then rented to another company. The building was built with walls, an iron frame and a corrugated iron roof. The accident occurred during the painting and renovation of the factory. According to the authorities, the company renovated the building without a license.

Currently, Dat Cuoc Commune Police are actively coordinating with Binh Duong Provincial Police to continue investigating and clarifying the cause of this tragic accident.
