On June 4, information from the People's Committee of Thach Son commune said that the local government and the family are organizing the funeral for the victim, a 7-year-old boy who died from electric shock.

Previously, on the evening of June 3, a 7-year-old boy (living in Tan Son village, Thach Son commune) sat on his bed at home and used his phone.
While using the phone, the battery ran out so the boy plugged it in to charge to continue using it. Because he was young and careless, while charging, the boy was electrocuted and lay motionless on the bed.
When relatives entered the house, they discovered the boy had been electrocuted and took him to the hospital for emergency treatment, but he did not survive.
After the incident, Thach Thanh District Police coordinated with Thach Son Commune Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident. After completing the necessary procedures, the police handed over the boy's body to his family for burial according to local customs.
