I could watch people and vehicles passing by on the street, hold a cup of hot tea between my palms, listen to the birds chirping in the canopy. Everything seemed to me at that moment, just right to start a new day.

Have you ever sat quietly and thought about the fit for each individual life. And how should we live, what do we need to fit our own lives? Quantifiable things in human life such as material wealth help us easily recognize what is much or little. However, there are things that can only be qualitatively measured such as sound, color, light, image... we have to rely largely on our senses to recognize how much or little.
In particular, there are things that cannot be quantified or qualitatively defined, so it is difficult to determine how much or how little. Each individual has different views in all areas of social life, which is very complex. Therefore, how to feel that everything is suitable for your life, is entirely up to each individual to decide.
I have friends whose living needs are so minimal that they limit all their personal belongings to the bare minimum. Their homes seem to have only lots of greenery and light. Their civil servant lives revolve around going from home to the office. After work, they worry about shopping, cooking, and taking care of the family.
Sometimes, when there is time, the sisters sit together with the eternal stories of women, just enough to feel the warmth and intimacy. Some women say that, outside of work, they just like to stay at home to take care of plants, watch movies, play with their children, rest and relax, and hardly like crowded places. For them, just being able to live like that is enough.
Another group likes to go out and travel . Some families are close and sometimes invite each other to go away for a few days. They choose places with wild and quiet natural scenery, drive there themselves to rest for a few days and then return. They also do not like to go to famous tourist destinations with large crowds.
On weekends or holidays, they are rarely seen at home. That group of friends believes that their daily work is restrictive and stressful, so they need to go out to relax, restore their labor force, and also a way to enjoy life after worrying about food and clothing, sometimes exhausting.
One morning, we walked to the small fish market in a fishing village, just as the sun was casting a rosy glow on the sea. The market was set right at the water’s edge, with waves rolling onto the shore and breaking right at our feet.
The market had only a few dozen people gathered around small baskets of seafood that had just been caught during the night. The bustling voices of people mixed with the salty smell of the ocean. I approached a woman about my mother's age. Seeing that I looked hesitant, she told me it was okay if I didn't buy anything, and to feel free to ask questions, because she knew I was from somewhere else who had come here to visit. After saying that, she pulled my hand and sat down next to me.
At 70 years old, she still wears diving goggles every day to find seaweed to sell. On good days, she can get five or seven kilos, on bad days, one or two kilos. She said she feels very happy because she can still work, while many people her age have difficulty moving around.
The warm and friendly conversation with the strange fishing village woman made me feel more about the necessity of living a happy life. For this person, life is about trying to earn a lot of money, both for herself and for her children in the future.
But for others, money does not need to be accumulated too much but must be lived to satisfy personal interests. Some just want to live a peaceful, quiet life, a little hardship is okay, as long as the spirit is always happy...
Certainly, anything in excess is not good. If we are too busy chasing after material things, letting them control us, we will be exhausted. If we only care about enjoying ourselves and do not know how to organize our lives, we will fall into difficult and struggling situations. Doing a job beyond our ability will make us always feel lost and exhausted...
How to live a balanced life? It is a life in which we know how to accept both joy and sadness, success and failure; always satisfied and feel the meaning of every aspect of life. And to have such a life, it is entirely up to us.
