Before the quarter-finals, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) sent a proposal to Ninh Binh LPBank Club to call Bich Tuyen up to the national team, wearing the Sport Center 1 Club shirt to participate in the Women's Volleyball Club World Cup in China this coming December. However, according to information from the VFV leadership, this Vinh Long-born player asked not to join the national team because of "psychological instability". Bich Tuyen has also asked many times not to join the national team to compete in international tournaments every time she was proposed, the most recent time she participated in the Vietnamese volleyball team was the 31st SEA Games in 2022 at home.

Bich Tuyen and her teammates' opponent in the semi-finals is the winning team in the match between VTV Binh Dien Long An Club and Geleximco Thai Binh taking place today.
Duc Giang Chemical Club also won a ticket to the semi-finals after a 3-1 victory over VietinBank. Their opponent in the semi-finals is the winner of the match between the Information Corps - Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc and Quang Ninh.
Sanest Khanh Hoa Club (blue shirt) won a ticket to the semi-finals after a convincing victory over Da Nang.
In the men's tournament, Lavie Long An Club unexpectedly caused difficulties for the Border Guard team thanks to their concentrated play and the ability of Cambodian foreign player Koun Mom. However, the national team stars currently playing for the Border Guard team, especially Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, shone at the right time to help the team win 3-1 and get a ticket to the semi-finals.
In the next quarter-final match, the host Sanest Khanh Hoa convincingly won 3-0 against Da Nang, winning the right to enter the semi-finals. The remaining 2 semi-final tickets of the men's tournament will be determined today with 2 quarter-final pairs: The Cong - Tan Cang vs. Hanoi (5:00 p.m.), Ninh Binh LPBank vs. Ha Tinh (7:30 p.m.).
