Accordingly, the agencies and units of the Naval Region 1 maintained 100% of their personnel on standby to respond to the storm; organized officers and soldiers to quickly reinforce houses and warehouses, trim trees, clear drainage ditches, etc.; and proactively coordinated with local authorities to be ready to respond and rescue when necessary.

According to the commander of the Naval Region 1 Command, at sea, the unit directed Brigade 169 and Brigade 170 to mobilize over 30 vessels to safe storm shelters; instructed units to closely monitor the storm's developments, review, adjust, and supplement storm prevention and search and rescue plans, and develop specific plans for each force in case of emergencies, especially regarding safety and minimizing damage caused by the storm.

On this occasion, the Commander of the 1st Naval Region Command presented certificates of commendation from the Political Commissar of the Navy to collectives and individuals who had achieved outstanding results in the search and rescue mission for the tourist ship QN-7105 (Green Bay 58) on July 19th.
