Imbued with Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in recent years, Tan My Chanh Commune Union has promoted its pioneering and volunteer role, with the motto "Wherever there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", Tan My Chanh Commune Union has implemented specific programs and actions, suitable to local conditions, bringing about clear results in the construction of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

Clear evidence of these efforts is the rural roads that have been patched and repaired to facilitate people's travel; the canals that have been cleared to serve agricultural production; the walls that have been painted to promote civilized lifestyles; the flower roads to create a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape; the solid houses that replace temporary and dilapidated houses... Those results have been achieved by union members and youth volunteers who have contributed working days, contributing to creating a fresh and vibrant rural appearance.

Specifically, in the past 10 years, Tan My Chanh youth have joined hands to build rural infrastructure, participated in repairing and renovating 7 rural traffic routes; repaired and helped build 4 "Charity Houses", "Red Scarf Houses"; lit up 3 rural roads; built 4 "bright - green - clean - beautiful - secure" self-managed youth routes, built 3 "Green Routes" routes, built 7 model flower routes...; thereby, the Commune Youth Union has organized the implementation of 62 projects, planted over 2,200 new trees, with an estimated value of over 110 million VND.

In addition, the Commune Union is active in social security care by implementing programs: "Lighting up dreams", "For the future of Tien Giang ", "For beloved juniors"...; organizing medical examinations, treatment, and free medicine distribution for people; the work of "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember the source", giving gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution is organized regularly... with a total amount of more than 1.5 billion VND.

In particular, in the context of the country promoting digital transformation, youth volunteer teams "going to every alley, knocking on every door" have come to guide people to install and use electronic identification applications, guide cashless payments, register for online public services, contribute opinions to amend the Constitution through the VNeID application...

This is not only an activity to help people access technology, but also a bridge between people and digital government, between tradition and modernity. These things have left a beautiful impression of the green volunteer shirt in the hearts of the people.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

Not only stopping at volunteer activities, the Youth Union's participation in building the new rural areas is also expressed in association with the pioneering and creative spirit of the youth, which has been demonstrated through models such as: "Classifying waste at the source", "Exchanging waste for gifts", "Exchanging waste for new notebooks" contributing to raising awareness of environmental protection. The models "Supporting seedlings for disadvantaged youth", "Supporting disadvantaged youth in career development" have created economic development opportunities for youth in difficult circumstances.

The models are concrete manifestations of the spirit of vanguard, volunteerism, and daring to innovate of young people in the cause of participating in building the new rural areas; at the same time, they also spread the spirit of living beautifully and usefully among union members and young people; affirming the role of the Youth Union in accompanying the youth and serving the people.

With continuous efforts, Tan My Chanh Commune Union has achieved many proud achievements, affirming the pioneering and volunteering role of young people such as: Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union for outstanding achievements in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in 2021; Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union for outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2022 and 2024.
