Ea Knuec Commune: 8 durian gardens have QR codes for traceability

Implementing the model of "Digital mass mobilization of durian gardens", the Farmers' Association of Ea Knuec commune has coordinated with DDC Holdings Joint Stock Company to develop 8 models of applying digital technology in production and increasing the value of agricultural assets.

These models are implemented in the villages of Tan Hung, Hoa Thanh and Tan Bac, with a total area of ​​7 hectares of durian monoculture and 0.6 hectares of durian intercropped with coffee.

All model gardens have full information collected, identifying data about location on Google Maps application, garden images, planting date, tree variety, area, yield... Each household will use garden management software to record care logs and other parameters according to the season.

From this information, each garden is assigned a QR code to trace the origin using Blockchain technology - this is considered a form of establishing a "digital identity" to ensure transparency and reputation, helping consumers to learn thoroughly about the garden as well as durian products.

According to the Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Ea Knuec Commune, Nguyen Thi Cam Loan, the model of "Digital Mass Mobilization of Durian Orchards" is a practical activity to help farmer members and durian growers apply digital technology to manage production, trace origin, improve productivity and product quality.

Thereby promoting the role of the Farmers' Association in mass mobilization work cleverly associated with digital transformation in agriculture ; increasing the connection between the government - front - enterprises - farmers, contributing to building smart new rural areas.

The application of digital technology in durian cultivation and QR code assignment for each garden will create an important foundation for building and promoting the Ea Knuec durian brand; connecting supply and demand for Ea Knuec durian products through digital platforms and e-commerce platforms. Thereby improving the efficiency of cultivation management according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP standards, and growing area codes; meeting the increasing demands of consumers and export markets.
