According to Hoa An commune, in the 2024 - 2025 crop, the commune planted 834.4 hectares of winter-spring rice, reaching 100.05% of the plan; 179.3 hectares of corn, reaching 99.6% of the plan. Total grain output is estimated at 3,610 tons, reaching 81% of the plan.

Of which, the winter-spring rice yield is estimated at 39.88 quintals/ha, the output is estimated at 3,327 tons, reaching 89.7% of the plan, mainly J02, Bao Thai dwarf and some other varieties, currently the rice is in the harvest stage; corn yield is estimated at 15.79 quintals/ha, the output is estimated at 283 tons, reaching 37.8% of the plan.

According to the assessment, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11, the commune had 161 hectares of corn and 150.3 hectares of rice flooded and broken, affecting crop productivity and output.

Currently, people are focusing on harvesting summer-autumn rice, taking care of summer-autumn crops and preparing the land for winter crop production.
