Previously, following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committee of Nam Cam Ranh commune held a conference to deploy response work to storm No. 13. Specifically, the People's Committee directed the functional forces to review key, vulnerable areas, at risk of flash floods, landslides, low-lying areas, and flooding; check and review, requesting establishments to proactively remove or brace advertising signs to ensure safety. Villages organized to guide people to reinforce and brace houses; urgently review and report to the People's Committee of the commune to direct the trimming of trees that are prone to falling, and the removal or brace of unsafe advertising signs on the roads. This work was completed before 10:00 a.m. on November 6.
The Commune People's Committee has directed the Commune Police and the Commune Military Command to block off culverts, spillways, and areas with deep flooding and fast-flowing water, preventing vehicles and people from traveling to ensure safety. At the same time, the Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Electricity Management Team has coordinated with the Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Electricity Management Team to check the safety of power lines and trim trees that could affect the power grid. By 3:00 p.m. on November 5, 100% of boats had reached shore and safely sheltered from the storm.
