On the morning of November 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of Van Ninh Commune People's Committee said that from yesterday afternoon to this morning, there has been moderate and heavy rain in the area. Through review, the situation has affected up to now, there has been no damage to people, property and infrastructure; some flooded rice areas have not been damaged yet.

Faced with the complicated situation of floods, on November 18, the People's Committee of the commune mobilized forces to inspect vulnerable areas; assigned forces to monitor traffic locations at risk of flooding to organize blockades and guide people to travel in other directions to ensure safety. On the evening of November 18, the commune's forces organized blockades at both ends of the spillway on the Van Luong - Van Binh inter-commune road (section through Suoi Sinh bridge); sent forces to support people in areas at risk of flooding to raise their belongings, and at the same time, mobilized these households to be ready to evacuate to a safe place when requested by the local authorities.

By 9 p.m. on November 18, the locality had proactively evacuated 5 households with 9 people in the river hamlet area of ​​Vinh Hue village to safe shelters. The locality also directed kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in the commune to let students take a day off on November 19 and arrange make-up classes at a suitable time.
