Quang Binh : Identifying investors to register for Kien Giang 1 Urban Area project
The Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Binh province has just opened the registration file to implement the Kien Giang 1 Urban Area project, Le Thuy district.
Accordingly, the only investor submitting the project registration application was identified as the consortium of BGI Group Corporation (HNX: VC7) - Minh Dung Construction Corporation.
Kien Giang 1 Urban Area Project, Le Thuy District has an area of 81,760 m2 with a total investment of 146 billion VND (preliminary total project implementation cost is 127 billion VND; compensation and resettlement support cost is 19 billion VND). The project's operation period is 50 years.
Upon completion, the project will have 143 houses, of which 30 will be built in the rough, with the exterior completed, and the right to use 113 plots of land will be transferred to people for self-construction; and a synchronous technical infrastructure system will be built.

It is known that BGI Group Joint Stock Company, formerly Construction Company No. 9, was established in 1993. In 2001, it changed its name to Construction Joint Stock Company No. 7 (Vinaconex 7). In 2020, Vinaconex 7 restructured its corporate model and changed its name to BGI Group Joint Stock Company.
As of December 2023, BGI has a charter capital of nearly VND 961 billion. The Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative is Mr. Hoang Trong Duc (born in 1975, in Hoa Binh ).
The remaining member of the consortium is Minh Dung Construction Joint Stock Company, established in 2007, operating mainly in the field of civil engineering construction. The enterprise is headquartered in Ý Yên district, Nam Định province. The legal representative of the enterprise is Mr. Ngo Việt Dũng (born in 1977, in Nam Định).
In addition to participating in the registration to implement the Kien Giang 1 Urban Area project, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh, BGI Group Corporation has also registered to implement a project in a neighboring locality, the New Urban Area of Hamlet 5, Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province, with a total proposed investment of 174 billion VND (in a joint venture with VRE Joint Stock Company).
