Ban Bung village currently has 48 households with over 200 people, mostly Tay, Dao, Mong people... The village is located in the core of a special-use forest with nearly 1,600 hectares; surrounded by mountain ranges with high biodiversity, cool climate all year round.

This place still preserves and conserves many rare species of flora and fauna, and a system of beautiful caves and waterfalls that have not yet been fully explored.

In particular, the district needs to focus on building tours to experience primeval forests, waterfalls and explore caves. The district also needs to have mechanisms to attract businesses to join hands with people to develop tourism.

Provincial Party Secretary Chau Van Lam and the delegation also conducted a survey of Bo Kim cave in Ban Bung village. This is a cave in a system of very pristine caves with many strangely shaped stalactites in Na Hang. The cave is about 7 km long and about 40 m wide. What is special is that the cave always has sparkling golden light when a flashlight is shined on it, like exposed gold.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that Na Hang district should direct the functional forces to have a protection plan at Bo Kim cave to serve tourism development activities in Ban Bung in the future.

During the survey, the Provincial Party Secretary also inspected the planning of the construction of a wharf at the new location of Na Hang town. He requested Na Hang district to closely coordinate with the Provincial Tourism Management Board to have plans to effectively exploit the new wharf area near Mo waterfall to serve the people and tourists.
