The Congress passed the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. In which, the common goal was determined: to build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system, promote the tradition, the strength of great national unity, the aspiration to rise up, build Gia Lai province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a center of processing and manufacturing industry, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, services, tourism, semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence (AI)....

Gia Lai province has set targets as a guideline for action, which are: the growth rate of gross local product (GRDP) in the period of 2025 - 2030 strives to reach 10% - 10.5%/year. By 2030, the total budget revenue in the province will reach over 41,000 billion VND.

Rapid urban development

Delegates voted to unify Gia Lai's development policies in the new term.

To complete socio-economic targets, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress identified five growth pillars and four breakthroughs.

Five pillars of growth: Focus on developing a strong processing and manufacturing industry, becoming a pillar of the economy, based on advantages in labor, agriculture and effectively exploiting the East-West economic corridor, especially economic zones, coastal industrial zones, on Highway 19 and the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway. Create a breakthrough in developing renewable energy industry, green industry, forming a regional renewable energy center, supporting green transformation, developing semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence (AI) associated with forming a regional innovation center. Develop tourism to truly become a spearhead economic sector based on advantages of the sea, mountain ecology, Central Highlands cultural heritage, Champa culture, historical culture, revolution, traditional art forms, traditional martial arts, promoting the development of community tourism.

Developing high-tech agriculture and sustainable forestry based on the province's advantages such as having red basalt soil, plains, low mountains to develop large specialized areas, having sea to develop high-tech aquaculture, forming "agricultural-industrial bases", building concentrated raw material area models, improving the value chains of key products of the province.

Developing port and logistics services including seaports, railway stations, airports, dry ports along Highway 19, Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway, forming logistics centers from Le Thanh international border gate to Quy Nhon port. Rapid and sustainable urban development associated with the development of industrial real estate market, urban real estate, tourism real estate, service infrastructure; urban economy contributes significantly to the economic growth rate of the province.

Four breakthroughs include: Breakthrough in institutionalization and strong improvement of the investment environment. Creatively applying the Central Resolutions as an institutional foundation, creating momentum for Gia Lai province to rise up in the new era. Promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, considering this as an important new driving force to promote the development of the province. Promoting the development of high-quality human resources to serve the economic restructuring towards industry, high-tech agriculture and digital transformation, green transformation. Creating a breakthrough in investment in the construction of transport infrastructure, irrigation, port infrastructure - logistics, industrial - trade - service infrastructure, digital infrastructure.
